Checking-in
TIME
You may check in at 4 p.m. or after.
SECURITY
Exterior security cameras are installed for your safety.
KEYS
Use the lockbox on the garage door to obtain keys. The code will be in your rental contract. One key is for the garage door, and the other key is for the house entry door from the garage. Please return both keys to the lockbox when leaving.
ENTRY
Please use the garage door or side door to enter. The glass panes on the front entry doors need to be secured, and we are working on those. Front entry doors automatically lock, and additional vertical locks are located inside. The side entry door in the dining room also automatically locks when closed.
COAT HOOKS
Coat hooks are in the back entry mudroom, and there is a coat closet under the staircase

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances you could need, coffee, and paper goods.
You will find cozy linens and towels in each bedroom and bathroom.
Toiletries like soap and shampoo are also available.
WIFI & Utilities
WIFI
WIFI is available through Spectrum Set Up-FB. The password will be available at check-in.
TV
Smart TVs are located in the living room and bedrooms. There is a Roku in the living room and king bedroom. To access Spectrum cable in the living room, use the Roku remote and press the Home icon. Then cursor over to Spectrum app and click. Use the right arrow to see the cable Guide.
TEMPERATURE CONTROL
A thermostat in the dining room controls the temperature on one side of the house (upstairs and down). Press and hold the up or down arrow to regulate. The thermostat in the hallway controls the remainder of the house. To regulate airflow in the bedrooms upstairs, move the grate lever up or down.
LIGHTING
Dimmer switches control the living room, dining room, parlor, and downstairs bathroom lights. There is a switch on the wall at the top of the stairs for the lights in the banisters.
The upstairs bedroom and bathroom lights and ceiling fans are activated with the switch on the wall, but can also be regulated with the remote control. For the fan in the blue bathroom near the sink, press fan icon and press 1 to activate.
TRASH & RECYCLING
One wastebasket is for trash and one is for recycled items (no glass). Trash bags are located in the kitchen sink cabinet if needed.
Amenities
FULLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN
The kitchen is fully equipped with anything you need, including an air fryer/toaster oven, coffee pots (and coffee), dishes, cookware, etc. There are a roaster and crockpots in the pantry closet.
COZY LINENS
There are cozy linens in each bedroom. When using the lower trundle beds, carefully slide the lower portion of the trundle bed out. Blankets are located in the dresser in one room and the closet in another.
TOWELS & TOILETRIES
You will find towels in each bathroom. A few little extras, like hair dryers, shampoo, and soap, are also available.
CLEANING SUPPLIES & MORE
If needed, cleaning supplies, rags, and a carpet cleaner are in the pantry. Please clean up any spills immediately to prevent stains. A vacuum is located in the downstairs bathroom closet. Extension cords and extra batteries are in the cabinet above the desk area in the kitchen.

Please don’t enter the basement or attic for safety reasons.
Please don’t crank the Victrola or play it, as it is a valuable antique. Please be careful to watch children around antiques.
Please don’t move bedroom furniture.
Events
TABLES & CHAIRS
The mudroom has extra folding chairs and tables. After your event, please take them down and put them back in the mudroom.
Tablecloths are stored in the pantry closet. Use furniture sliders (in cabinet above desk in kitchen) to move furniture back into place in the parlor.
CAPACITY
The parlor and the dining room can seat a combined 30-35 people for small gatherings.
Checking-out
TIME
Please check out by 11 a.m.
BED LINENS
Please remove bed linens of ONLY beds that were slept in and place them on the bedroom floor.
DIRTY DISHES
Put all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and turn on the dishwasher.
EXTRA FOOD
Extra beverages and sealed food items left behind will be donated to a food shelter.
BEFORE YOU LEAVE
Please turn the thermostat to 62 degrees in the colder months and 75 degrees in the warmer months. Put the keys in the lockbox, turn off all lights and make sure the exterior storm doors are latched tightly.
